General Information Letter

The Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic, a premiere regional event, has always emphasized the appreciation, wise use and stewardship of South Carolina’s natural resources through the use of education. This annual event is hosted by the Harry R. E. Hampton Memorial Fund and the S.C. Department of Natural Resources at the State Fairgrounds in Columbia, SC.

With more than 35,000 people in attendance each year, visitors can expect live animal exhibits, contests, seminars on various outdoors topics, demonstrations of both hunter and boater safety, and many other vendors, exhibits and activities related to the outdoors.

Goodman Building (Click pic for more info)

This building is the new jewel to the SC State Fairgrounds. Opened in 2016, the Goodman Building has been the "go to" building for various events held at the fairgrounds. The Goodman Building is a 35,000 square foot building (160' x 200' deep exhibit space). This building holds 161 (8' x 10') booth spaces. The Goodman Building is joined to the Cantey Building by two enclosed pedestrian breezeways. The Goodman Building is the first building on the right as attendees enter the fairgrounds at gate 6.

Cost is $625.00 for General Booths and $675.00 for Corner Booths and XXL Booths (10'x10')

Within the cost, you get free electricity, 8' Table (one), 2 chairs, 4 badges & Parking Pass

Cantey Building (Click pic for more info)

The Cantey Building is a 40,000 square foot building (160' x 225' deep exhibit space). This building holds 183 (8' x 10') booth spaces and is our largest building. Housed in this building are exhibitors from all areas of the hunting and fishing world. The Cantey Building is joined to the Goodman Building by two enclosed pedestrian breezeway. The Cantey Building is the second building on the right as attendees enter the fairgrounds at gate 6.

Moore Building (Click pic for more info)

The Moore Building is a change of pace. If you are looking for a quieter building... One that you can engage with your potential client... A building that is carpeted and less crowded? Then the Moore Building is perfect for you.

This building is for vendors that want to interact, talk with potential buyers. Also, different outdoor art dealers love this building. This building will see about 70% of the crowd the Cantey and Goodman Building.

All booths are 10' x 10'

All booths are $475.00 for inline and $500.00 for corners.

Outdoor Booths (Click on pic for more info)

Outside, in the midway, you will find many exhibitors and special displays, such as boats, ATV's and a food court with a dozen food vendors selling a variety of delicious meals. Outside exhibit spaces are 20'x20' or 40'x40' but can also be sold in bulk to fit vendors' needs. There is a range of prices due to size and proximity to certain high traffic areas.

The address of the SC State Fairgrounds is 1200 Rosewood Dr., Columbia, SC 29201. Gate 11 on Bluff Road will be open for exhibitors to enter the fairgrounds. Times for set up are:

Thursday, March 26th from 12 Noon until 8:00 pm (VENDOR MOVE IN)
Friday, March 27th from 8:00 am until 11:00 am (VENDOR MOVE IN)
Gates open on Friday 27th, at 12 Noon until 8:00 pm
Saturday, March 28th, at 9:00 am until 7:00 pm (Vendor Gate 11 will open 8AM Sharp)
Sunday, March 29th, at 11:00 am until 6:00 pm (Vendor Gate 11 will open 9:30AM Sharp)
