Dear PSC Vendors,
With much hesitation and disappointment, I must inform you that the Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic is CANCELED for this year, March 27-29, 2020 at the S.C. Fairgrounds in Columbia, S.C. The decision to cancel is due to concerns surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), now a pandemic. The health and wellbeing of South Carolinians and others traveling to South Carolina’s largest hunting, fishing and outdoor expo remain our top concern. We must take every precaution to protect the tens of thousands of attendees, vendors and volunteers expected to attend the event.
Over the last 72 hours we evaluated a large Home Show (attendance the same as ours) at the fairgrounds, and from what we are told, the attendance has been sub-par. Most of you have invested a lot into this show, and to have a low attendee turnout due to this virus would just add insult to injury. We feel that to protect your safety, personal and financial, we had to make this difficult decision to cancel.
Since we canceled our show, you have a decision to make regarding your payment of registration fees. Below are your 3 choices. You will need to complete the PSC Cancel Request Form to let us know your decision:
I would like to apply my TOTAL Registration Fee Balance to the Palmetto Sportsmen's Classic 2021 Show (March 26-28, 2021) You will not need to re-register.
I would like to apply 50% of my Registration Fee Balance to serve as a deposit for the Palmetto Sportsmen's Classic 2021's (March 26-28, 2021). You will not need to re-register.
I would like a full refund. Please note, by requesting a full refund, you will lose your grandfathering privileges for the 2021 show. You will need to re-register after August 15, 2020 in the hopes that the booth is still available.
All vendors must complete this form regardless of the choice you make. Refunds will be mailed within 30 days of the submission of the form.
As you can imagine, our office is overwhelmed with the process of canceling an event that took 10 months to plan. If you have a question, please reach out via email, not a phone call.
