WELCOME to the Thirty-Eighth Annual Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic.  We are looking forward to having you participate in the 2023 Classic on March 24-26, 2023

Please find attached to this email, your Welcome Letter.  The welcome letter will contain:

  • Your Booth Placement (Building/Area and Booth Number)

  • Your current balance 

  • Your itemized invoice is a link on the attached document.  Please find "Invoice Link" and follow that link.

Here are a couple of FAQ answers below:

 

  • COMMUNICATION:  As you can imagine, as a one-man show up until the Classic, I receive many phone calls, emails and text messages.  The absolute best way to communicate with me is through email.  Most info vendors are seeking, I would need to be at my computer.   Also, I must have a chain of communication per management.  My email address dnrdan@gmail.com.

  • All vendors are responsible for following the SC Department of Revenue's rules and regs regarding your stay with us.  The Palmetto Sportsmen's Classic will not advise you on any of these rules and regs.  The SCDOR has created an informational website that touches on this subject matter (retail licenses, taxes, etc).  If you have any questions, please go to https://dor.sc.gov/event-guide or William.Hentz@dor.sc.gov directly.

  • Looking for local Hotel or RV information?  Please visit our HOTEL/RV INFO PAGE for up-to-date discounted rooms.  Remember, discounted rooms are limited.

  • Parking passes will be mailed out March 1, 2023.

  • You will receive your Vendor Pass(es) when you check-in either on Thursday or Friday of Classic Weekend.

The address of the SC State Fairgrounds is 1200 Rosewood Dr., Columbia, SC 29201.  Gate 11 on Bluff Road will be open for exhibitors to enter the fairgrounds. Times for set up are:

  • Thursday, March 23rd from 12 Noon until 8:00 pm (VENDOR MOVE IN)

  • Friday, March 24th from 8:00 am until 11:00 am (VENDOR MOVE IN)

  • Gates open on Friday, at 12 Noon until 8:00 pm

  • Saturday, March 25th, at 9:00 am until 7:00 pm (Vendor Gate 11 will open 8AM Sharp)

  • Sunday, March 26th, at 11:00 am until 6:00 pm (Vendor Gate 11 will open 9:30AM Sharp)

  

Exhibitors will be allowed to enter their assigned building/booth one hour before the show opens each day in order to restock and/or arrange their booth.  Due to security reasons, we have set these time limits for your protection.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

 

IMPORTANT:

 

• On Sunday, March 26th, after the event closes at 6:00 pm and all patrons have left the fairgrounds, vendors will have until 9 pm to vacate the fairgrounds at which time the gates will be locked.

• Vendors are welcome to return on Monday, March 27th from 8:00 am until 11:30 am to remove any remaining products and trash from their booth(s) but must vacate the premises by noon per our agreement with the Fairgrounds.

I received your application and thank you for your interest in the Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic.  As you may or may not know, the PSC is focused on outdoor-related activities, goods, and services.
 
As of right now, we have hit our limit for NON-Outdoor Related Booths for the Cantey and Goodman Building.  You are welcome to look at our Moore Building.  We have plenty of spaces available there. 
 
Please follow http://www.pscvendor.com/moore and check out “Booth Availability” located at the bottom of the page. ​Also note, that map may not be up-to-date with the most current info.  If you choose a booth that is already taken, I will do my best to put you as close to that booth as I can.
 
If you are still interested in joining us for 'The Classic', please reply with what booth number you are interested in and I will adjust your application to reflect the change.   We will in turn get you signed up and ready to go!

​Please understand, the Palmetto Sportsmen's Classic is a Hunting, Fishing, and Outdoor Expo. Those vendors, who fall into the hunting, fishing, and outdoor category will take first consideration and placement.

​If you do not fall into this category, your booth placement will be made by the Director. You may choose one building, but if our quota has been met for non-hunting, non-fishing, non-outdoor in that building, you will be placed in another building.

As of right now, we have hit our limit for NON-Outdoor Related Booths for the Cantey and Goodman Building.  When we canceled in March, you chose for a full refund.  Doing so, you lost grandfathering privileges.  Here is the verbiage you chose:
 
  • I would like a full refund.  Please note, by requesting a full refund, you will lose your grandfathering privileges for the 2021 show.  You will need to re-register after August 15, 2020, in the hopes that the booth is still available.

 
You are welcome to look at our Moore Building.  We have plenty of spaces available there.  Right now we are still in our grandfathering period until October 15.  After that date, if you are still interested, I can put you in the best available.  Please reach back out after Oct 15 if you are interested in a booth in the Moore Building.

I wanted to send out a quick email that we have received your application and we look forward hosing you for the 2019 Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic, March 22-24, 2019.

We have assigned you a booth already; generated an invoice and emailed it to you.  It may take up to 2hrs to receive this email.  If you haven’t received the email (after 2hrs), please check your spam/junk folder.  It is auto-generated and sent though our invoicing system.  If you still cannot locate the invoice, please reply to this email and I will send you the link.

 

Please note the due date on the invoice.  Payment/deposit is due by that date.  Failure to make payment/deposit by this date will result in your booth being released and others my register for it.  We have sold out the last 4 years so don’t lose your booth!

Thank you so much for reaching out and showing interest in the Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic 2023, March 24-26, 2023.  

 

This past March, we had a huge (post-Covid) crowd of almost 30,000 attendees!  We hope that you will consider joining us this year and making this show the best one ever!

If you are interested in PSC2023 and did not attend the past show, you will need to wait until after our grandfather's date of August 15.  After that, any booth that hasn't been re-registered, will become available and up for grabs. 

If you did attend and you want to move or add more booths, you will need to re-apply for 2023, after the grandfather date.

If you are a non-profit, you can take advantage of our non-profit ratings.  When you register at https://www.pscvendor.com/  you will see our normal rate.  Please choose where you would like to be placed.  Next, under "Additional Info," please include that you are a NON-PROFIT and include your FEIN number.  Once we verify that you are a non-profit, we will change the price to reflect the nonprofit pricing.   Below is the non-profit rate for PSC23.
